Dr. Keith Waddell in whose names the foundation was named and founded visited the diocese in April, 2025. He was happy to note the progress that is so far taking place and plans to stir the organization further. He mentioned that throughout his over 50 years career in Uganda and Ankole in particular, he has treated over 5,000 clients more especially children with eye problemsHe is excited about the upcoming marathon that is geared towards sensitization, awareness and continued treatment of children with eye cancer at Ruharo Mission Hospital.
God willing he will be back again in January 2026 to participate in the run whose preparations are under-way.
As a foundation, we would like to invite all members to join in the mobilization of the marathon aimed at raising eye cancer awareness and treatment of children.
